I get eczema (not on face) and am prone to redness and dryness and have sensitive skin. This whole line has no mineral oil, no silicones, no alcohol, no fragrance and is hypollergenic and has a slightly acidic PH. It has madecassoside, which is one of the active ingredients in centella asiatica, which is soothing and healing. It's a popular ingredient right now, but most cica blams have irritating essential oils. This ihs such a good ingredient for sensitive skin, so I was thrilled to find a version for sensitive skin. Centella is wound healing and soothing. This product also has panthenol (5%), which coats the skin and protects it. Doesn't break me out either.
This is very soothing on eczema or itchy posts, rashes, redness, breakouts and scrapes. It's helped my facial redness a lot. It brings down redness, stops itching and irritation fast. I have use it all over, as my skin gets very itchy in summer. My husband got a weird rash that he was scratching and this stopped the pain instantly. I used on a scrape that was hard to cover. Made it hurt less and look less red. Protected the wound, by coating it. Can be used as a spot treatment on breakouts.. Very handy porduct to have in the house. Good thing to use if you over exfolliated.
I also love the emulsion, which is light and moisiturizing and very soothinig as well. It's a very easy product to work into your routine. A little spreds well, so I have have used it all over when I am itchy. . The barrier cream has a lovely light but more occlusive texture, but less madecassoside, so it doesn't help the itching and redness quite as much. It layers well and it's nice.
