I have
combination skin (dry and acne-prone skin with an oily T-zone). I like that
gentle toner is alcohol-free, fragrance free and in a spray bottle. I just
apply it on as a mist, but of course, you could use it with the cotton pad too.
Note: Make sure to avoid getting them into or even near your eyes. It strings
like hell.
This toner
is clearly formulated to be a calming product. It doesn’t do that. It also
doesn’t hydrate and recover my skin in any way or, as far as I could tell, do
much of anything. I use this to mist my skin before applying COSRX Centella
Blemish Ampule and Centella Blemish Cream because applying skincare products to
damp skin allegedly helps the ingredients absorb – but again, I feel like
bottled water would suffice just as well. Maybe because this toner is actually
mostly 82% mineral water and only contains 10% centella asiatica leaf water.
Overall, I
really like this toner (it’s so gentle for me) but I think it doesn’t do much
for my skin. I still want to try other toners after I’m finished this one.
