This powder is very mattifying. It's easy to go overboard with this powder - when I applied all over with the puff it made the foundation look very dry and cakey. I usually get oily on my t-zone halfway through the day and applying this powder lightly with a brush only on problem areas prevents this without the cakey-ness. I think it's too heavy duty for Melbourne winter, even for my oily skin but I'll get good use out if it in summer.
