The packaging and applicator of this product are very nice and functional. The square lid pops off easily to revel what is more like a nail-polish cap underneath. It has a short doe-foot applicator that is easy to use. The tint itself - I got dark knight - is almost black in the bottle but goes on a deep, berry red. It will suit a lot of skintones, but is very bold. When you put it on you have to be careful not to leave any lines around the corners or edges of your lips, because they will become really obvious as it fades. But it's really nice for a gradient lip and if you are careful can be nice for a full lip to. It fades quickly at first but stains well, so you'll still see it faded on your lips hours later. It doesn't transfer once it sinks in. One thing which may disappoint people is that, while it is bold for a lip tint, it is not as bold as a dark lipstick, so don't expect it be opaque like a lipstick.
