Skin type: Normal to oily.
The seaweed mask smells nothing like seaweed nor does it have a fishy scent. It smells more similar to ocean-scented beauty products and smells quite fresh.
The seaweed used in the mask is fucus vesiculosus extract which is known to improve skin texture, correct minor blemishes and enhance collagen production to improve skin elasticity.
The sheet mask itself doesn't fit my face perfectly. It's quite small in terms of height and width but also the cut-outs for the eyes and mouth were also small in size. The material of the mask is quite thick and durable.
Upon using the mask I experienced a lot of tingling. This wasn't an uncomfortable burning sensation and was probably more similar to tingling associated with menthol. I didn't experience any discomfort, redness or tightness after using the mask however because of this tingling sensation, I probably would not recommend this mask for those with sensitive skin.
Overall, my skin did look slightly brighter and more radiant, like the mask claims. The texture of my skin appeared smoother and minor blemishes seemed to be less evident. The difference wasn't major after one use - it would probably require multiple masks to get a permanent or long-term effect.
I would recommend this mask for those that do not have sensitive skin, have uneven skin tone/minor scarring and those using anti-ageing skincare products.
