When I first got this, I actually didn't know there was a pump and I hated having to use that hook thing.. so i never used it.. then i found out there is an actual pump and now I always use it. I LOVE how it gives a subtle glow to my skin. I tend to have dry skin and hate how flat and non glow-y my face looks but whenever I use this under my CC cream or foundation, I do notice a difference. Don't panic when you see specs of glitter when you apply it since your foundation will cover.. therefore... never wear this on its own
