The acid concentration in this toner is too low to be used as a chemical exfoliant. However it has a low pH of 3.8 so it is perfect for lowering my skin pH to get ready for my actives such as AHA, BHA or vitamin C. It is also hydrating to help my skin from being dry from acids.
