It's a hand lotion like any other. I have to say its effective if only because since I adore it so much I'm constantly reapplying, which you should be doing any way if you're washing your hands all the time all day. I definitely bought this because 1. it smells like peach (and it does, like peach rings candy and your friend the next desk over might smell it) 2. its cuuuuute. Gimmick successful. Heck, I'll get more flavors probably when I run out and restock the Purin/pink one. If its on sale I'd say try it if you think you gotta have it.
