I didnt expect much brightening as most products like this claim to make wonders but what you get is less than what you expected, but this mask did a lot of good for my skin. Not only it brightened (I know not permanently but still) it also helped with an active breakout I had. I swear by this shet mask now! LOVELOVELOVE it.
