I haven't seen any decrease of redness from this product but it is VERY moisturising. The texture is in the middle of a gel and cream and is easy to spread over the face. I have combination/oily skin and would use this during the winter because in summer it's a bit too thick and leaves a sheen, so this would be ideal for dry skin types. My sister loves it too!
