These eye patches have a very pleasant cooling effect on the under eye area. I also find them to have a somewhat smoothing & plumping effect on me, but I wish it would last longer - once I take them off, the fine lines on my under eyes look pretty much the same. I'll continue using them to see if the effects will be more noticeable, but so far I'm not totally convinced. If your main concern is puffiness, these are awesome.
