The Black Sugar Mask fell a little short of my expectations. It's not, by any means, a bad product. It feels like it's doing some wonderful exfoliation, but the results were a little bit lackluster. I didn't experience any irritation or break outs, but nor did it make any visible improvements to my skin's appearance or texture.
Pros:
- Relatively cheap
- Lots of product that would last for a long time
- Texture that feels like it's exfoliating when massaged in
- Inoffensive scent (not overly perfumed)
Cons:
- Looks a little scary on
- Would prefer a creamier version for easier spreading
- Not particularly effective
Repurchase?
No. I liked this product, but I feel like there are probably better options out there for my skin. That's not to say that this won't work for you! All of the positive reviews mean that it's clearly working for other people and you might be the same!! This product is just not for me.
