I burn my face with glycolic acid. No really bad, but i never experienced an overexfoliation reaction. My chin and cheeks broke-out, I have a terribly burning sensation (i can´t wear sunscreen of make-up without irritation) and my skin was thirsty as hell, but every hydrating product evaporates almost instantly. I put this at night the first day after the reaction, and 3 days after my skin was normal again, yes, i have dryness, but the wounds were healing and the burning sensation was gone. Madecassoside is one of my favorite ingredients, and one of the best for damage skin.
