I have combination skin that is prone to clogging while being very sensitive. This makes finding a product that will exfoliate my skin while being gentle almost impossible. I have tried clay masks, gentle chemical exfoliants, and konjac sponges, but they were all too harsh for my skin. I reluctantly gave this product a try, and it completely changed my skin!
I use this product two to three times a week after cleansing, rubbing it onto dried skin for a couple of seconds (longer if I want more exfoliation) and wash it off with water. While the gel is being rubbed into the skin, it balls up and those pieces take care of the exfoliation. My skin is immediately softer and clearer. If you struggle with finding a gentle physical exfoliator, then give this a try.
Pros:
- very gentle yet effective
- the tube makes it easy to squeeze out as much or little product as you need
- 100ml - lasts a long time
- no hyaluronic acid or sodium hyaluronate (for people who are sensitive to it, like me)
Cons:
- smells strong (but pleasant, I would describe the smell as clean?)
