I am not sure if this drying out is exclusive to the brush liner because I seem to have had a better experience with the pen liner. This one I only used for a week, and I had to use a eyeliner pencil under because this was so dry and patchy. It kept flaking off, so I had to replace it.

I'm not sure if I should risk purchasing another liner or if I should just stick with drug store brands... these are cheaper, but this also only lasted me 3-5 days.
