I would say that this is a standard clay mask that dries on your skin. It helps to keep your pores clean but do not expect miracles. I have to say that it felt kind of stingy on my face, so I would not recommend it for whole face, only trouble areas. It felt like there was some kind of mint – reminds me of Nature Republic Real Nature Clay Mask Peppermint.
