This has a brightening and depuffing effect - I use it in the morning to wake up or before going out at night to look a bit more awake. After a month of almost daily usage, I feel like my undereye area is softer and my crows feet have become less prominent. While this is my only experience with hydrogel eye patches, I have been quite satisfied with the way they work and will likely be repurchasing due to the price. A star off for the fragrance which didn't bother me too much, but I can imagine it can be irritating to others and I feel that is an unneeded irritant around the eye area.
