I was looking for a low ph toner to prepare my skin for vitamin C step, since vitamin C ph is around 3, so if your skin ph level is too high, it's not going to be effective. I heard some reviews say this one can be quite irritated to skin because the ph level of this toner is around 3.5 which considered to be very acidic.I'm not looking for a toner that can be duped as an exfoliator as well since most toners do not contain enough active AHA/BHA to actually exfoliate my skin. My purpose is purely to bring down the ph level. After using this for 2 weeks, I would say it's pretty ok on my skin, didn't cause any huge irritation, though first couple of applications did make my face feel a bit tingling especially when I followed with something high acidic like Vitamin C. Another good point is no fragrance, I can't seem to detect any scent. So if you are looking for something affordable and easy-to-find to bring down your skin ph level in order to get your actives in then this is the one.
