I can't say how product works alone since I use the whole line. I poured in my palm(gotta notice that it has an interesting 'dispenser'that prevents from pouring excess liquid, so it does not leak even if you hold it upwards) and put on with fingers, which was not really convenient as it was running off my hands. Then I started to run it between my palm and apply with them as like I wash my face. It is slippery, and leaves sticky feeling so it you decide to tap on you skin with fingers better not to do it. That's why I took 1 star. Apart from it, it seems to give moisture.
