I purchased this so I could layer underneath my BB cream or cushion without having to put another layer of sunscreen on my face. I was finding that with moisturizer, sunscreen, and then primer.. the product build up on my face was not ideal. However, I was hoping this primer would help with smoother make up application etc. but I dont find it particularly does? On top of that, the shimmer in the primer is quite subtle. It's nice if this is all you're wearing but underneath makeup it usually just disappears. I also think the sunscreen in the primer eats away at my foundation moreso throughout the day so I don't actually think this is a good makeup primer. However, it does make your skin look nice and luminous and I haven't found a decent sunscreen yet that doesn't eat away at my makeup (but also doesn't have alcohol in it).
