i have dehydrated, oily, acne prone skin with a lot of scars and this cream has helped me a lot :). the consistency is very thicc so i use it only at night. it's perfect for when you have small bumps and you want them to dissappear, sometimes i use it as an spot treatment (ii put more product) and this cream reduces the size of the pimple. however i think it doesn't prevent acne
