DEHYDRATED, ACNE PRONE AND COMBINATION SKIN

i don't know why hyaluronic acid doesn't work much on me :c i didn't see much difference on my face using it or not, i think it works more like a makeup effect :( because when i  use it, yes my skin looks plumped, but it doesn't last long (if i have dry patches, they dissappear when i put this but after 2+ hrs they appear again). i use it after toner and before esence, cream, etc.
