I've been a faithful user of this sunscreen for over a year now, but they recently reformulated it slightly, and updated the packaging to highlight it's real PA value. I was excited to try the new version, and figured I would get it as this sunscreen was out of stock for ages when I bought a new tube. I did indeed get the new version, so this is a review of that.

I always liked this sunscreen for how matte it was even over moisturizers, but sadly it just isn't as matte as it used to be. To be fair, it's also summer here now, so perhaps I am romanticizing just how effective it was last year. It's not unbearable though and I could use powder if I chose.

It stays on for a long time, but it settles into pores and lines faster than the old version. I'm not sure which aspect of the new formulation would cause that.

The color and smell seem the same, though the white cast might be a little more severe? I'm very pale so that isn't a problem for me and I've always enjoyed the smell of this product.

All in all, I haven't found a sunscreen I like better yet, and I haven't gotten burned while wearing this new version so I will likely keep buying it until I find a good replacement with a high zinc content.
