This is a bi-phase product. To use, just dip the stick into the powder at the bottom without shaking it up. This will dry down to a powdery finish. When I put this on, it sometimes stings just a bit, but to me, I just feel like it’s proof it’s working. Any spots I put this on usually go down overnight. It’s said this can also be used as a spot concealer. I do believe the coverage would effectively hide and treat at the same time, but it’s too dark for me to use it like that.
