I bought this because I have combination-oily skin and while the rest of my face is dry and tight, my T-zone is really oily. I was hoping this would work as a nice occlusive to maintain what moisture I've applied. This is pretty decent. It's closer to aloe vera gel than an actual 'cream', so I imagine it creates a 'film' barrier rather than a creamy one. The smell is amazing; I love the Innisfree green tea fragrance so much but it does fade relatively quickly after absorption. I'm not sure if my sunscreen on top of it ruins its moisturising properties though, because it only feels moisturising when I don't use sunscreen... but in the mean time, the shiny look on my nose has reduced significantly. Sebum is delayed for much longer than using a regular cream. My skin is left feeling nicely moisturised and plump, which is all I want from a moisturiser. My main downside is that it takes a while to absorb so you have to spend a few more moments massaging your face to aid absorption. Also, it would have been nice to have a spatula to scoop up the gel because I'm currently improvising by using the thin plastic cover as a scoop! I wouldn't recommend doubling this up as a sleeping pack, because the oiliness of my T-zone gets way worse for some reason.
