I have incredibly thick, long eyebrows and I needed a pair of scissors small enough to trim them back. When I saw that these scissors came with trimming guards, I just had to have it. And I hate to say it, but I'm not really all that impressed. To use the guard, you have to hold your hand at an extremely odd angle, and when it comes time to trim the eyebrow opposite your dominant hand, you're pretty much blind. Your hand will cover your face and you won't be able to check yourself out in the mirror. I eventually gave up on the guards and used the scissors by themselves. They work well enough on their own, so I don't regret purchasing them, but they didn't help solve my eyebrow situation either. Oh well!
