I haven't noticed any whitening effects yet after three weeks of consistent use, but this is a lovely cream which I happily use all over my face. It absorbs very quickly. and leaves a satin finish (not matte or dewy). It isn't hydrating enough alone for my eye area, so I am going to look for another eye specific product. but for the price and quality I will repurchase. It doesn't break me out either, win!
