This is the first cushion foundation I have ever used. I wanted to get an Etude House one to put in their new cute cases with endangered animals on them.
I must say that I am really not impressed by the formula at all. The first thing that hit me when I opened the packet is the very strong floral fragrance. Not only is it nauseating, it is also very irritating on my skin and caused me to have little red bumps on my face.
The formula is also rather drying; there's no way I can use this during the winter months when my skin is super dry. My last complaint is regarding the shade; I got the darkest shade, W24, but it's still very light. I have attached a colour comparison picture between this and the Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC25 (which is a bit too orange for my skin tone, but it's the only one I had around) to demonstrate how light it is. Not only is it rather light, it also has a slight pink undertone to it, which really does not work well with my yellow-undertone skin. I can make this work only if I put a yellow based powder that is darker than my skin tone on it, but because of how drying it is, I cannot put any kind of powder on top. Thus rendering this cushion foundation completely unusable for me.
I would not recommend this to anyone who is darker than NC 20/25, has dry skin or sensitive skin.
