Experience:

First impressions - I had been subscribed to Joan Kim for about a year now and was quite excited to hear about her releasing a cream. I haven't had the best experience with NEOGEN in the past but wanted to give this cream a try. The packaging was gorgeous and I loved the division of the creams.

Post-usage - Not bad. My favourite is definitely the day cream due to the lack of very heavy lavender scent.

The day cream was my favourite of the two. I loved the green colour and the smooth consistency of it. Moreover, the cream sunk in so freaking fast. The semi-velvet-y feeling afterwards was pretty neat, too. The cream left my face soft and cool. My redness would cease for a while after using this product. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that the day cream could easily have worked as both a day & night moisturiser. I needed more of the green and less of the purple.

The night cream is my least favourite. Mind you, it never irritated my skin but my nose hated it. The lavender scent does not linger but I caught myself holding my breath whenever I had to apply this cream at night. This cream was also very cooling (for about 5min) and would leave my face moisturised. HOWEVER, it is definitely way less moisturising that the day cream which would lock the moisture all day compared to this.

All in all it was a nice product that I'd like to buy again IF they change the scent and formula of the night cream. For the lavender lovers. Get this.
