This is a gel-cream texture and is light and fast absorbing. I think it does help fade acne marks and brightens my overall skin tone. I think it works well and I really like it but I find the scent unpleasant. It reminds me of medicine or a hospital. I don't think there's added fragrance so it's probably just the natural smell of the ingredients, but I think I would have liked it better if they added some natural scent to make it smell better.
