Hmm...🤔 I don't think I've been this conflicted about a product than how I'm about COSRX AC Collection Calming Liquid Intensive. First of all, I have to admit that this was an impulsive purchase. When you get acne, you can't wait to get rid of it. But when you have acne since middle school and there is only one day a month when your skin is decent then it is understandable that you would do anything to fix it.

Since it contains BHA, AHA ingredients I incorporated the product into the night routine as a first layer - the consistency is like water (so that i get both the benefits of the products and avoid exposing the skin to sun damage). I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I can say there are visible improvements on my skin, however: I have the feeling this is the products that is drying my skin as I feel like no matter how much I layered the moisturizer, the areas where I applied the product seemed to be tighter and more dehydrated than usual. But I mean, alcohol is pretty high up on the list. On a brighter note it didn't irritate my skin.

I will probably use it till I finish it. But at the moment I’m not really sure whether or not I will repurchase it.

👍🏻Positives:
*doesn't sting my skin
*seems to heal the skin faster
*seems to brighten and fade the scars

👎🏻Negatives:
*Alcohol is second on the list so you may risk drying out you skin
*Packaging wise it can get messy as it doesn't have a pump so you may around and maybe use too much (I would also have preferred if the bottle was the same opacity as the mild one because I still can't really tell how much I have left - am I halfway?  or am I not really there? also the bottle being heavy doesnt help me making that guess either.

Sidenote: I saw that people claim there is only good alcohol in this product that doesn't damage the skin but I'm not really sure about that. On the back of the product (ingredient list) it is only stated alcohol without anything following it so that it would indicate otherwise. 🤷🏻‍♀️
