Out of the gate, the one drawback of this essence is its texture, which is the most "slime-esque" of all the snail products I've tried. Certainly, I wouldn't recommend this as a beginner snail product -- the texture is a bit too gross! However, this product does an excellent job at soothing and hydrating the skin, thanks to the high percentage of snail in it. Unlike some other famous snail essences (coughcoughBentoncoughcough), this product won't really brighten your skin, but it can't be beat in terms of healing. (Truthfully, this is a 4.5/5 product, on account of the texture, but CosRX is so great I'm gonna round it up.)
