This puff expands when wet just like a beauty blender. It blends out my foundation so seamlessly and makes my foundation look like skin. The dye does slightly run every time i wash it. You can use it dry too but the puff is quite hard without wetting it so it feels more like slapping your own face when blending foundation in.
