This is comparable to the kissme mascara, which always got onto my eyelids during application for some reason. I have super oily eyelids, and waterproof mascara usually smudges on my lower lids. This one does smudge (all mascaras do on me) but its definitely not as bad as other waterproof mascaras. It's like a typical waterproof asian mascara, like the peripera one and the kiss me one. I think I prefer the peripera one when it comes to volume, but jolse stopped stocking it :(
