I got this because I've enjoyed the samples I've received of the lotion version of this product, especially for my body acne scars. It actually does make them visibly lighter over time. This one was on sale so I thought why not try it? It starts out with a powder texture and then becomes creamier on my fingers. I like that it dries fast and the powder texture but shaking it out tends to waste a lot of product. It's also a little hard to apply as a powder without making any mess. I think I will stick with the lotion even though I like the idea of this.
