I previously owned the original Sulwhasoo cushion, so I just purchased a refill of this product to try it out.  The refill comes with the applicator sponge. There are definitely differences between the 2 formulas. The previous cushion had much heavier coverage than this one.  I actually prefer the coverage of this cushion more because I think it gives a more natural finish, but if you need heavy coverage, stick to the original. My only issue with this cushion, and the previous one, is that the formula is difficult to set. I have tried numerous ways, but it can be tricky and sometimes too dewy, which causes the powder to look somewhat cakey. Without powder, this cushion transfers everywhere for me, so I need to set it.  This may not be an issue for all, but it was somewhat difficult for me.  On the days that it set well, it does look beautiful and gives skin a radiant look. I'm still searching for my perfect cushion, this one was so close, but no quite.
