the pads are very thin and made of 100% cotton. They’re double-faced, meaning both sides are the same so you can use either. They’re very well-soaked in the essence although there’s not much essence left in the packaging. they’re multipurpose- they gently exfoliate, hydrate, nourish the skin and keep it clean. Every time I use them, my skin feels well moisturized, smooth, bouncy and properly cleansed
