This is not a moisturizing toner and the acid % is very low /0.1 % glycolic acid and 0.1 % betaine salicylate/ so there is no peeling effect. But it is very effectve for restoring the skin balance after cleansing. It is supposed to have 3.9 ph and prepares the skin for stronger acids or whatever you use after it. I am repurchasing it on regular basis.
