This is a very interesting product and so far it hasn't irritated my skin or anything. It does have a minty, almost herbal-y scent but it doesn't last long. One small complaint that I have is that one dip with the q-tip actually yields a lot of product and it's hard to control how much product you want on the q-tip. I usually only get 1-2 break outs at a time so I feel like it's a bit of a waste of both the product and q-tip.
