It's hydrating initially and then it dries down to a semi glow. I have oily acne prone skin and this did not create any sort of irritation or reaction.

I can't really confirm if it soothes, but it doesn't make my skin worse if you know what i mean. I bought this from looking at the ingredient list. which was pretty good btw, no potential irritants.

Overall there's no bad/controversial ingredients so you don't have to worry and do research lol.

I would get this again if it's on sale.
