It is definitely not the easiest product to work with, it has a feel of a gel or honey but not sticky. I tried using it after my toner, essence and it didn't seem to bring much moisture to my skin which is why I use it as a last step of my routine, I apply few drops on my cheeks and forehead and then padd it for absorption, it works well and locks in moisture from all of your previous steps. Better for night time as it takes time for skin to absorb it fully. Your face will feel hydrated and plumped at the end so it's worth it.
