The curl fix mascara I bought was in the shade choco fondue, which is a lovely dark brown-burgundy. It's not too different from regular black mascara, but if you look closely enough, there is a bit of a difference. Should I say, it creates a somewhat softer look? As for the mascara itself, I napped with it on and it didn't budge! It also holds curl very strongly.
