I bought this product hoping it would help me prevent my usual hormonal acne from cropping up.  It has proven to be quite effective as the number of new pimples I am getting has definitely decreased.  However, I would not say that it works to speedily get rid of any existing pimples and therefore is more of a preventive measure.  In terms of blackheads, I do not see too obvious difference in them, but blackheads have never been a major concern for my skin which could explain this.  I did not experience any obvious purging, which is a huge relief for me!
