I find this to be the same as the original. It gives the same fine powder that sets your makeup and keeps your oils at bay. This one is a tiny bit harder to sift out of the container but it isn't any less fine or more cakey once you put it on your face. I can't really say that I see this gives memore coverage so I don't knwo if I'd choose this over the original. Right now I'm using this to set my face and the original under my eyes if that helps you decide.
