Used this nightly for about two months now - nice sleep pack for moisturising properties, but I haven't experienced any lightening of hyperpigmentation or sun spots yet. If you're sensitive to fragrance, beware of this product - pretty heavy scent of citrus. The first time I used it there was a bit of a tingle but my skin wasn't too sensitized to it. A pea sized dollop covers all of my face and neck.
