Second time buying. I like it. I have combination skin and it has not broken me out. The texture is like butter when scooping out and melts nicely into a thick oil. Very similar to Banila Co. cleansing balm. There is fragrance in the product and it is a subtle smell of mango. After washing it off the smell lingers faintly. On the packaging, it advertises no double cleanse is needed, but I still double cleanse with a foaming cleanser. I cannot speak to how well it removes makeup because I only wear sunscreen and this takes care of it no problem.
