Definitely aimed for someone in their 30's, I use this at night after toner, and I can notice a firmer skin in the morning, this is quite expensive for an essence, however this will last you at least 4-5 months on daily usage because it requires so little. The essence is clear and is somewhat sticky but once placed on your skin, it's as if it isn't even there. The bottle also is pretty durable, dropped it several times and still intact! Its like a hard plastic, and smell wise it does have a VERY VERY VERY faint fermented scent but I had to really try to smell it.
