This is my first time trying this brand and it definitely lived up to the hype. I bought it mainly for the mugwort ingredient for my dry, sensitive and irritated skin. This is a gel like consistency and it turns into a watery consistency once applied to the skin. It does absorb into the skin pretty fast and turns semi matte. This has a light herbal scent that dissipates once applied. I apply this at night and it helps to calm down my skin, reduce my redness and brightens & supple up my skin after a good night sleep. A little bit goes a long way with this product and I definitely use more than I need to and I barely made a dent in the bottle
