I've only ever used Etude's mascara fixer, so that will be my only product to compare with. 

I have sensitive eyes, dry skin/lid so I normally dont need too much priming/prepping.

My lashes are long, straight, pointing downwards; pretty typical east-asian lash. I need to fix curl + add more volume.

This mascara fixer holds my lash curls well. It doesn't flake off. It doesn't turn white. 

HOWEVER, once it dries it still kinda leaves that greyish mucky look. Not too much but def noticeable if you closed your eyes or looked down while someone's looking at you close up.

It was definitely better when you layer it with black mascara. But does not give you that 100% CLEAN blackest black lash look.

My eye lids were a bit itchy and reddened. This happens with many mascara/eye products so I wasn't too alarmed. Etude fixer did not do this. For this reason I will probably go back to using Etude's OG fixer, however, other than the sensitivity part I did not notice much difference. (if you don't normally have reaction to mascaras, then this is probably just as good as Etude one).
