This transparent gel cream is really more of a gel than a cream. It comes in a glass jar with a cute little spatula. It doesn't have added fragrance but it does smell faintly of  a number of plant extracts, mostly astringent, as well as betaine, allantoin, panthenol, and a peptide to stimulate collagen production and reduce the appearance of pore size. There are no synthetic thickeners, film formers, or preservatives in the ingredients list that I've found. It also has a slight oil component but I can slather it on my chin with confidence. I think that oily skinned people or people who get acne from rich creams can use this with confidence and will appreciate the hydration, antioxidants, and brightening.  Good deal for the price, a must have if you are wary of synthetics, and I will definitely repurchase!
